##### Removing guests from an event

Removing a guest means that they will be removed from the Epoch event and calendar event. This will trigger a calendar notification and Slack message to notify the guest that they are no longer part of the event.

1. In Epoch's legacy editor, go to **Event insights** for an event.
2. In Epoch's new editor, go to the **Registration** tab in the editor.
3. Click on the guest's name you need to remove.
4. Click **Remove guest**.
5. Click **Remove guest** again.

##### Frequently asked questions

###### How do I remove a distrolist from an event?

1. Go to **Event insights** for an event.
2. Click on the **View distrolists** link.
3. To remove a distrolist, click **Remove**.

Removing a distrolist will only stop the syncing behaviour, meaning it will not affect guests who are already part of the event. If you want to remove members of the distrolist that are already in the event, you will need to remove the guests individually following the steps above.
